Awesome that you have such gorgeous birds in your city! How amazing that animals can adapt like that :) Is it just me or is that one on the left looking a little silly?

hahaha, I know it's three different falcons but since they all have the same expression it almost looks like a slow motion shot, as if its' the same bird moving his head until he's looking down. (haha silly me but i thought it was funny when that image game to my mind.

What do you mean by natural site ?

This couple nested here naturally (the previous nest was destroyed when people cleaned the castle). It is a joy to observe them every years ;-) I hope I answered your question. ;-)

Part of a building or ledge not meant for nesting, they just used the area. hard to explain. my favourite bird. Im involved in the monitoring and looking after 140 kestrel boxes in my area. its so rewarding handling the young for ringing. so it curiosity on my part where they lay their eggs. hope you dont mind my asking. good work love to see more. What kind of Teleconverter did you used ?

phalalcrocorax Featured By Owner Dec 7, 2011
Ha ha ha... it seams you know the place :D

I was with two converters this time : 400mm + 2x + 1.4x so the real exif is 1120mm f11 (+ the 1D crop factor ==> 1450mm) And it worked pretty well because the sharpness is very good.

Merci beaucoup pour votre message

Great pic of very beautiful birds. It's funny, I live in a very rural area and hardly spot a nest, let alone an occupied nest . Neither do I find a bird of prey in a tree. Only see them high up in the sky once in a while. And there you are in a big city shooting amazing picture of this wonderful birds. :)

You should go to Brussels, I heard that you have a couple living there :-)

For this I am very lucky, because I can spot at least 4-5 occupied nest a year ;-)
