Don't eat me by phalalcrocorax Don't eat me by phalalcrocorax
Yesterday, I tried to take my camera gear to go to Paris... and that wasn't a so bad idea.
Picture done in Paris, here exactly :D

For once the heron doesn't eat goldfishes only :D

Hi
Thank you.
It is not very difficult (in fact, it is VERY easy). I only have to go to this garden and wait for this heron. He is always there ;-)
And I just have to wait to see him fishing. :D
I should go to this garden more often I think :woohoo:

I think you should go more often too :lmao:

I've noticed that you have 300 and 600 mm lenses.. gorgeous! I'm patching myself with 40-150 kit lens :(
Reply
:iconphalalcrocorax:
phalalcrocorax Featured By Owner May 6, 2011
Ha ha ha... it is the same lens :D
The 600mm 5.6 is the 300 2.8 with the 2x extender.
Before, I worked with both 300 2.8 and 400 2.8... but with time, it is much better using only one lens.

But with only 150mm, you should go for some easy species... we all started with a small lens (me, it was with a 35-135), but that doesn't mean we couldn't take good pictures and to have fun observing the nature. I really think a good picture is mostly a good observation of the specie we want to make on picture ;-)

Well, I need more practice with living things.. usually when I get something alive in my viewfinder I panic because I have little of time.. or the second worst thing is when I do have enough of time but I can't get a clean focus.. I've manage to catch this one by pure luck, he came to me  [link]
