A friend of mine gave me the oportunity to buy an old 1D MkIII for a fair price. And as usual, it is always fun to try the photographing tool on some magpies.
The image quality and the built quality is great... for sure. But gods, the autofocus is sooo crappy compared to all my other cameras (5D MkIII, 7D and even the 5D MkII). After a while, canon understood that the speed of the autofocus is nothing if the precision doesn't follow.
During this photo session. Only 10% of the shots were in focus.
Anyway, when it is sharp, those 10Mpixs are just AMAZING !
