Hi all

Thanks a lot for all your comments. I will answer to them as fast as I can.

Here, it is a picture of a crested grebe I did a long time ago in Paris....

The worse part is that with the work they did on this lake, this specie disappeared and is not nesting here anymore... to my personal point of view, it is a GREAT and a very sad loss to the capital. :(

Thanks for watching :)

And for the curious, the chick ate the fish without any problem.

Have a goodnight

Nathan

How sad that they're gone now. Hopefully, you'll be able to find them somewhere else! Love the photo!

This is lovely :) It's always fun watching birds trying to eat fish much bigger than they could seemingly eat :D The chick there was of a same size as the other one? It looks bigger, but I wonder if it's only because of the fish.
Once I saw a Grey Heron trying to eat a really big one, but apparently, it couldn't. The heron tried to gulp the fish, then it tried to get it out of its beak and was struggling a lot. When we walked back, we saw it again after maybe 15 minutes and nothing changed. The fish was stuck in its mouth. I really hoped the heron was able to manage it somehow and didn't die from it (or is it even possible for a heron to die from somehting like this?).
